Bringing mindfulness and a "withitness" that encompasses the child as a whole is our purpose.

Within the heart of the child lies a deep sense of awe and wonder waiting to be touched and given a living form, which allows profound interactions, builds relationships and creates new opportunities leading to the magic of Early Childhood.

We believe that when every child sees, hears, feels creates and explores there radiates a reciprocal experience leading to honour and value the right of every child, thereby making learning visible.

We value the importance and virtue of coexistence at Mahara, where the existence of life and growth is a necessity to develop harmony, productivity and stability.

The essence of these teachings are best implemented at an early stage, when we focus on the development of the prime areas of a child's personality thus fostering mindfulness, respect and gratitude, wherein the goal of global sustainability is attained paving the way for a healthy enabling environment.

Mahara is one of the first preschools in Hyderabad to adapt the "16 habits of mind" into its learning system. These habits of mind are identified set of 16 problem solving, life related skills, necessary to effectively operate in society and promote strategic reasoning, insightfulness, perseverance, creativity and craftsmanship. The understanding and application of these 16 Habits of Mind are researched and developed by Arthur L Costa and SenaMallick that serve to provide the individuals with skills to work through real life situations that equip that person to respond using awareness (cues), thought, and intentional strategy in order to gain a positive outcome.
